42 Free Advertising methods to Advertise your Website for Free

Some of these 42 free ways to advertise your website can also be used to advertise your business for free even if you don't have a website. (Your contact details can be just a phone number or email address, instead of a link to your website or blog.)
  1. Free online classifieds sites
  2. Free business directories
  3. Get a free blog, like a Blogger blogspot blog (like this one you're on now, but you can choose a different look for it) frequently update it with fresh content, and include a link to your main website in the sidebar, or near the bottom (like I have on this blog, that links through to one of my websites)
  4. EzineArticles – write articles for EzineArticles, related to what your business or website is about, and include a link to your site in the author’s resource box at the bottom; sometimes people visit EzineArticles, use these articles on their own sites too, leaving your resource box intact, with your link to your site – try other article directory sites too
  5. Include a link to your site on your FaceBook profile
  6. Set up a FaceBook page on FaceBook about your business, with a link to its website; invite all your friends to like your FaceBook page, and encourage them to encourage their own friends to like the page too
  7. Include a link to your site on your profile of any photo site you join, like Flickr or RedBubble, if they allow it
  8. Include a link to your site on your profile of any online writing site you join, that allows it, and also within the articles you write on those online writing sites, if it's allowed

    Join forums that discuss topics that relate to the content on your website or blog, take part in the discussions, and have your link to your site displayed beneath your comments and discussions
