Micromax Brings its New Q80 with Push Mail Services


Local mobile phone company, Micromax has introduced a new device in the Indian market. This mobile phone known as the Micromax Q80 would be the company’s first push mail enabled phone and will include 3G and WiFI connectivity.
The Micromax Q80 includes a full QWERTY keypad and an optical trackpad for easier navigation. It is a dual-SIM device which can run 3G as well as 2G enabled SIM cards. It is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera which supports face and smile detection, while it also includes a secondary VGA camera which can be used for video calling.
The Q80 is bundled with an in-built Yamaha amplifier, which delivers improved sound quality. It also includes a 2.4-inch TFT QVGA display and the pre-loaded applications consist of Opera Mini, Bloomberg UTV, ngpay, Snaptu, Newshunt, Nimbuzz, Burnout and of course Facebook.
It has 68MB of in-built memory along with 8GB expandable memory. Micromax has mentioned that the device will include a 1200mAh batter which will provide 130 hours of standby and up to 5 hours of talkative.
We are yet not sure whether the device will support true push services, as we are yet to test it capabilities. However, it sis good move by the the local manufacturer to include push mail services in their device an price hem as low as 4,999 INR.
